Bug fix release LibreOffice 3.4.5 is out
The Document Foundation has announced the release of version 3.4.5 of LibreOffice, a maintenance update for the 3.4.x branch of the open source office suite. The new version addresses almost 30 bugs found in the previous release, improving the program's overall stability.
These include several crashing problems and a variety of issues in the Calc spreadsheet program and the Writer word processor. A bug that prevented certain 3D slide transitions from working in the Impress presentation manager has also been fixed. No new features have been added in the update; all users are advised to upgrade.
A full list of fixes can be found in the 3.4.5.1 and 3.4.5.2 change logs, and on the 3.4.5 wiki page; at the time of writing, the 3.4.5 release notes have yet to be published. LibreOffice 3.4.5 is available to download for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Source code for LibreOffice is licensed under the LGPLv3.
