Hercules releases DJ drivers for Linux

Hercules has released GPL (General Public License) Linux MIDI drivers for their DJ Console and DJ Control series of MIDI input controllers. These consoles allow digital music tracks, stored on a computers hard disk, to be manipulated as though they were vinyl records being played on the traditional DJ's two deck rig.

Zoom Mixxx Digital DJ mixing screen display Mixxx, manufacturer of DJ mixing software, is supporting Hercules by releasing Mixxx 1.6.1+Herc of their digital DJ mixing application for Linux and +Herc MIDI mapping update packs for Windows and Mac OS X. Both are available to download now.
