Intel sponsors GNOME and KDE 2011 Desktop Summit
Open to developers, community members and users alike, this year's Desktop Summit will take place over the course of a week in Berlin, from 6 to 12 August at Humboldt University. Sponsors for the 2011 event include Intel (Platinum), Colabora and SUSE (Gold).
According to the Sponsorship Opportunities Brochure, as a Platinum sponsor Intel paid €45,000, while Gold sponsors paid €20,000. Other sponsors include Canonical, Google, Igalia, The Linux Foundation, Qt, Red Hat, Lanedo, Mozilla and OpenShine.
