Deadline announced for Camp KDE 2010 call for presentations
KDE's Jeff Mitchell has announced that the deadline for the Camp KDE 2010 call for presentations will be the 5th of December, 2009. Next year's Camp KDE conference will take place from the 15th to the 22nd of January, 2010 at the University of California in San Diego.
Attendees interested in presenting are encouraged to indicate their topic during the registration process. In hopes of accommodating as many presentations as possible, no selection criteria has been set other than that the talks should of course be generally KDE-related. The conference schedule will be updated as speakers are selected.
According to Mitchell, those that may not have enough material for a full presentation can still be accommodated for lightning talks and Birds of a Feather (BoF) meetings. Registration is free and those interested in attending are advised to register early.
This years sponsors include Nokia's Qt, Google and KDE e.V., the non-profit organisation representing the KDE Project in legal and financial matters.
