Red Hat Summit and JBoss World 2010 dates confirmed
Next year's US Red Hat Summit 2010 will take place in conjunction with JBoss World in Boston, Massachusetts from the 22nd to the 25th of June, 2010. While Red Hat acquired JBoss in April of 2006, the two events have only been linked since 2009. The JBoss World site has yet to be updated to reflect the 2010 event.
Red Hat say the open source event is aimed at business decision makers, developers and community enthusiasts that want to learn about the latest open source advances, including virtualisation, middleware and management technologies. Traditionally, Red Hat also uses the event to introduce new products and updates to its portfolio.
Attendees interested in presenting are invited to register to be contacted when the call for papers opens for submissions. Selected submissions will receive a complimentary pass to the conference. Those wanting to keep up with developments for the Red Hat Summit can follow the latest news on Twitter.
The third annual Red Hat and JBoss EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Partner Summit will take place in Valencia, Spain from the 2nd to the 5th of May, 2010. The European event will focus on collaboration and the ecosystem. A number of distributors, system integrators, JBoss partners, ISV's OEM's, resellers and training partners will attend the event and tracks spanning four days will cover everything from Go-to-market programs and JBoss projects, to new ideas and real world results from the company's customers.
