RabbitMQ 2.6.0 arrives
RabbitMQ has announced the release of version 2.6.0 of its open source enterprise messaging system which implements the AMQP specification. According to the developers, the highlight of the latest release is the introduction of active-active HA (high availability), allowing for queues to be replicated across the nodes in a cluster.
Other changes include improvements to the management and stomp plug-ins, as well as fixes for a number of bugs found in the previous update. All users are advised to upgrade to the current version. More details about the release can be found in the mailing list announcement and in the release notes. RabbitMQ 2.6.0 is available to download and is released under the Mozilla Public License 1.1 (MPL).
